Pine | Therapy Dog in Training

Nia Baker | ma LPC NCC | Executive Director & THerapist

Beginning therapy, particularly after an experience where you have felt hurt or misunderstood, can be scary. I work from the mindset that trust is built through honesty, authenticity, and acceptance and that in any given moment we are all doing the best we can. I am an individual and group therapist with a strength based focus towards understanding and owning our stories and learning new skills to move towards the life you want to live. My goal is to work with you towards exploring areas where you'd like to see new life instead of feeling stuck and discouraged. I use compassion, humor, and encouragement to create ripples that let hope slip in and grow so you are able to see the strength you possess towards long term change.

  • Individual DBT and RODBT

  • Sexual Trauma, Assault, or Trafficking

  • College and Young Adult

I currently have a full caseload and can provide a consultation related to connecting you to either one of our therapists or to a referral that I trust.

My role as a therapist is to come along side you as a facilitator of the therapeutic journey. This may happen at different points in your life, in the marriage journey, or in various stages of development. Whether your journey is short or long, I aim to come to support you as you find inner peace and personal growth. As an individual, couple, and group therapist I bring a knowledge of therapeutic tools to sessions that help facilitate your personal healing and growth.
