Jacob Lishnoff
I believe that a values-driven life is one centered in joy, connection, and radical authenticity.
I am driven by supporting clients in identifying intrinsic strengths, engaging in creative problem solving, and recentering in their values to move skillfully toward their goals. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and practice from an ACT informed lens to support clients in this work.
I enjoy working with clients across the life span (pre-teens, teens, and adults) who are navigating autism spectrum disorders, neurodivergence, and anxiety or mood disorders. I have experience working with clients with thought, mood, and anxiety disorders in the residential and partial hospitalization setting and value the opportunity to work in partnership with clients during challenging times in their life.
I believe that effective therapy is centered on a strong therapeutic relationship that allows us to explore opportunities for growth and change, and I am excited by the opportunity to work with individuals in a way that feels supportive and meaningful to them.
Life is complex and we all deserve support to navigate it.
I would love to walk with you through the challenges, the wonder, and the silly moments in between.
